John Henry

Plympton is the best town in the Commonwealth and as I like to say, this is as close as it
gets to a Vermont-like town in Massachusetts. Having lived here for 26 plus years, this is
certainly where I want to spend the rest of my life. My name is John Henry
(unfortunately I don’t own the Red Sox) and I am running for the office of Plympton
Selectman in the December 1, 2007 special election.

My wife of 38 years, Sandi, is the long time volunteer Director of the Council on Aging.
We have two daughters who were brought up in Plympton. They had the great
opportunity to attend the Dennett Elementary School. They also graduated from Silver
Lake High School and from college. The oldest, Michelle, lives in Hong Kong with her
husband and our two grandchildren. Jessica lives in San Diego with her husband. We are
long time supporters of the First Congregational Church of Plympton.

Originally I am from Chester, Vermont, a town just like ours. My military service was 4
years in the US Navy including a tour of duty on an aircraft carrier off from the coast of
Vietnam. After which I graduated from Bryant College in Rhode Island with BSBA and
MST degrees. I am a non-practicing CPA. My employment history includes nearly 20
years at Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. in various financial positions including Senior
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.

Previously I served on the Wage and Personnel Board and am currently the Chairman of
the Anti-Casino Task Force. I am an active member of the Historical Society.

My goal is to help Preserve Plympton; I hope you feel the same way. I would appreciate
your support and votes on December 1, 2007.
