Request for Quotes - Hazard Mitigation Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Plympton is soliciting written quotations pursuant to M.G.L. c.30B, to acquire the services of a Consultant to prepare a complete update to our local Hazard Mitigation Plan, in accordance with any and all applicable Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) standards.

The Town’s current plan is part of a larger, regional Hazard Mitigation Plan prepared by Old Colony Planning Council (OCPC), dated 2015. The Town is seeking an update to our local Plan to serve as a stand-alone Plan for our Town and also so that it may be provided to OCPC for insertion into their larger, regional Plan once that Plan is updated in the future.  The Town is receiving grant funding for this project through FEMA via MEMA and as such, there is a not to exceed limit of $18,000.00 for the Consultant services necessary for the successful and full completion of this project, including any and all work incidental or related thereto.

Written quotations and a Non-Collusion Certificate must be submitted before 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020, either via Email: townadmin@plymptontown.org or by mail to the Plympton Town House, Attn: Town Administrator, 5 Palmer Road, Plympton, MA 02367 with the outer envelope clearly marked with the words “HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN”.

The Town reserves the right to cancel the Request for Quotes and/or to reject any and all proposals/quotations.
