Q When is Town Meeting? A. Thirty-five (35) registered voters constitute a quorum. Municipal By-Laws Article III §2. Q. How does a citizen request a written ballot vote on an article at Town Meeting? A. A citizen, after being recognized by the Moderator, will make a motion requesting a written ballot on the article being discussed. If a majority of the voters present at Town Meeting vote in favor of a written ballot, the article will then be voted by written ballot. Municipal By-Laws Article III §7.
