Plympton Cub Scouts Pack 53

About

Scouting is designed to support family life and is a values-based youth development organization.

When your son enters first grade, he can join Cub Scouts where he will learn new physical skills, how to get along with his peers, and begin to develop his mental processes, his personal character, and his independence.  The uniqueness of Cub Scouting is that you, as his family, agree to join the program to help him along the way.

Boy Scouting begins when a boy enters 6th grade.  It is at the Boy Scout level that Plympton’s Troop 53 really focuses on helping each Scout to become independent, confident, and responsible.   Boy Scouts of America has helped build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.  We know that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.

We are always looking for adult volunteers for Den Leaders, Pack and Troop Committee members and event help of any kind.
